Gauge: 5 sts = 1" over Heel Stitch pattern on larger needles
Abbreviations: BO- bind off; CO- cast on; k- knit; m1- make 1 stitch (pull band of yarn on row below between stitch just worked and next stitch and slip onto left needle, knit into back of this stitch to make a new stitch); p- purl; p2sso- pass the 2 slipped stitches over the stitch just knit; rnd- round; sl- slip; sl2tog k-wise- slip 2 stitches as if to knit them together; st(s)- stitch(es); yo- yarn over
