Description:  This cowl is worked alternating a knit round and a slip-stitch round that creates a soft, waffly fabric that is comfortable and insulating, perfect for chilly or downright cold fall and winter days.

Level:  Easy (working in the round, knit, purl, slip stitches)

Size:  6.5" (11") high x 23" circumference

Materials: 

• 1 (2) skeins Crystal Palace Allegro DK (shown in 314 "Maple Leaf")
• Crystal Palace Bamboo 26" Circular Needle in US size 9, or size needed for gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker

Gauge:  4.5 sts=1" over Slipped Honeycomb Stitch

Abbreviations:  CO- cast on; k- knit; ndl- needle; p- purl; rnd- round; sl- slip; st(s)- stitch(es); wyif- with yarn in front
