Size: 8" wide x 25" circumference
Materials:
1 ball Crystal Palace Gold Rush (shown in 1006 "Black Gold") = MC
1 ball Crystal Palace Merino 5 (shown in 1020 'Vivid Violet') = CC
Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles 16" or 26" circular in US size 10
Stitch marker
Crochet hook or yarn sewing needle
Gauge: 4 sts = 1 inch over pattern stitch
Abbreviations: beg- beginning; CC- contrasting color; CO- cast on; k- knit; k2tog- knit 2 stitches together to decrease by one stitch; MC- main color; p- purl; p2tog – purl 2 stitches together to decrease by one stitch; rep- repeat; rnd- round; ssk- slip 1 stitch knitwise onto right needle, slip 2nd stitch knitwise onto right needle, slip both stitches back onto left needle and knit them together (decreases by one); st(s)- stitch(es); yo- yarn over
INSTRUCTIONS
With circular needles and MC, CO 108 sts. Join (being careful not to twist sts); place marker to indicate beg of rnd.
Work 3 rnds seed st hem: Rnd 1: k1, p1; Rnd 2: P1, k1; Rnd 3: K1, P1
Start Treasure Pattern:
Rnd 1: With MC, K around; Rnd 2: P around
Rnds 3-6: with CC *(K1, Sl-2. K3) around
Rnd 7: as rnd 1; Rnd 8: as Rnd 2
Rnds 9-12: with CC *(K4, Sl-2)
Repeat these 12 rnds 4 times
With MC, work 3 rnds seed st hem (as above).
Cut yarn leaving an ~6-8 in end
Using the crochet hook or yarn needle, secure and weave in all ends.
