Description:  These fingerless mitts match the Cables 'n Lace Hat and Cables 'n Lace Cowl.  They feature alternating bands of eyelets and 3 x 3 cable with ribbed top and bottom edge.The mitts are knit on needles slightly larger than is typical for the yarn to allow for more drape and wearability. 

Level:  Intermediate (knowledge of basic cables and eyelets recommended)

Size:  6.5" circumference x 7" high (unstretched)

Materials: 

• 1 skeins of Crystal Palace Allegro Lace (shown in 3001 "Stone Gray")
• Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles:  8" double-points in US sizes 3 & 5 (or size needed for gauge)
• Cable needle
• Stitch marker (to mark beg of rnd)
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:  7.5 sts = 1" over pattern

Abbreviations:  BO- bind off; C6L- cable 6 left (slip next 3 stitches on cable needle an hold in front of work, knit next 3 stitches, then knit the 3 stitches off the cable needle; CO- cast on; k- knit; k2tog-knit 2 stitches together; p- purl; rep- repeat; st(s) - stitches; x- times; yf- yarn forward (bring the yarn forward when making a knit stitch to make an eyelet hole - increases by 1 stitch); yo- yarn over (bring yarn around needle to make an eyelet hole - increases by 1 stitch)
